Karashamb 2014 - Tomb 675

General Info

  1. Chamber: rectangular, subterranean, 1.54 x 0.88 x 1.00 m.
  2. The longitudinal axis oriented the north-southeast.
  3. The tomb was covered by large basalt stones.
  4. External structure: sub-circular – 5.0 m east to west, 3.7 m north to south, basalt cromlech.
  5. The deceased was a female between 18-20 years of age, lying on her left side in the southern section of the tomb. Her mandible is missing, her head is towards the north-west, her face was tilted downward toward the body, her legs were bent, one hand outstretched towards the leg, the other probably bent.
  6. Burial goods: one ceramic vessel, one bronze pin.
  7. Additional information: as a result of later intrusions, the cromlech lost its original plan.
