Karashamb 2013 - Tomb 50

General Info

1. Chamber: rectangular, subterranean, 6.10 x 3.35 x 2.55 m. There is a 2.60 x 1.25 m rectangular niche in the south-eastern corner of the tomb.
2. The longitudinal axis is oriented east-west.
3. The tomb was not covered.
4. External structure: circular cromlech from tufa 19.00 m in diameter.
5. Only the theeth of the deceased were discovered. These were scattered in various locations in the tomb at various depths.
6. Burial goods: two complete and 7 fragmented ceramic vessels, numerous fragmetns of pttery, fragmetns of cups, fragmetns of very small ceramic vessels, Faience bird figurines, Faience beads, buttons, spherical, and flat objects, bronze buttons and rivets, a fragment of a dual-sheet riveted rbonze object, a bronze pin, an iron knife, shale pins, pendants from steatite and shell, beads from various materials including one from gold.
7. Additonal infromation: the tomb was looted and heavily disturbed.
